Geoff,
Once you crimp the connector on the wire, I added a dab of solder, you can insert it into the connector without taking
it apart. It will snap in place just make sure you have it all ready, it will be hard to take it out. Don't forget to slide the
grommet over the wire first before crimping.

Geoff's pictures were great and explained it well, Brian. I had just replaced the two plugs on a 912 I have on a Kitfox and wish I'd seen his pictures before ti tackled the job.
My 912 S came already wired and ready to go though. The rest of the rest of the wiring I got right out of the Installation manual and Dynon Instruction book. Pretty straight forward.
