Flew one hour after both mags on my 1994 912ul checked well. After landing I rechecked the mags but the left one was dead. Then called a Rotax tech and checked ground connections and reversed connections from ignition bundle to both modules but no change so I replaced Module A as recommended.
Started the engine with the right mag but still no spark from the left mag - Module A. Talked to a Rotax tech at Airventure. Then did a continuity check of single wires coming from ignition bundle. One red wire to Module A had no continuity so started trimming the wire back until I had continuity. Soldered a new wire to it and a new connecter to the other end. Plugged the Module A wire into the the new connector and now have good flow of power to those spark plugs. Could have saved $800 if I had checked continuity first.
