I have an RV-6 with a mostly steam-gauge panel where the C2400 Airpath Compass was installed next to the ignition switch. The compass has seen better days (purchased used), and I notice that it isn't reading correctly. I doubt the location is correct, so before replacing it with another one I'm considering a compass card. If the 2.25" compass card is placed in this location, will it be affected by the ignition switch EMF; there's not much room on the glare shield and I'd prefer to not mount it on the canopy....
